come on and fill my prescription

[kbc got you down? artillery fire just happen to take out your cavalry? hey, it's okay. yagen understands. sometimes you're injured, but you're just not badly injured enough for the saniwa to spend forty minutes repairing you. other times, you're injured, but so is your whole party, which means you're stuck waiting your forty minutes... and everyone else's. just to fix up a couple of scratches. not really worth it, huh?

in times like these, you can always visit yagen's highly professional emergency clinic — which is really just his room, and not very professional at all, but who really cares, right? you can trust him; he's a doctor. except he's not that kind of doctor. he might not even be a doctor at all.]

Have a seat. What seems to be the problem?
candlecutterpikachu: can someone please tell me why he has the largest clone population (kakakaka intensifying in the background)

[ It's very, very rare the that First Party gets actually hit badly enough to retreat - and when they do, it is by something quite devastating indeed. Thanks, glowy blue kbcs.

Mitsutada is without his eyepatch for the first time in possibly weeks, instead combing his dark blue hair down over his mutilated eye in its place. It'll have to do, for now. ]

Hey, Yagen. Can I borrow some of your stuff?

[ He doesn't sound like he's in too much pain, but the copious amounts of blood on his shirt definitely say otherwise. Gotta keep cool even in these situations...! ]

[ Mitsutada chuckles, though it's more of awkwardly than anything else. In any other instance he would have perhaps shrugged or otherwise indicate that this Isn't A Big Matter at all, but he can't go around denying several very obvious slash wounds, so he just lets that slide. ]

Thanks. [ At least he isn't bleeding all over the floor like Ookurikara might have. ] I'm last in line, so I might be here a bit longer than expected, haah.

[ He exhales slowly through his teeth, starting to pull out several drawers. Let the others get fixed first, he had said - and while the relieved smiles on his friends' faces took the edge off his pain, it isn't enough to make it go away altogether. ]

Anyone else come in yet?
candlecutterpikachu: (actual pensiveness?)

We were.

[ At least, that means their sacrifice was not for naught. ]

We'll learn from it, that's for sure. We won't be caught that easily. [ Because the First Squad is the elite of the elite, and they simply cannot afford to slack off.

He raises an eyebrow at Yagen's last sentence. ]
I'll be fine, honestly. Plus, I wouldn't want to waste your things when they could be used for someone else.

[ Like the younger swords, whose pain tolerance threshold might not be so high. ]
candlecutterpikachu: (thanks amy) (my shoelaces are cool!)

[ He pauses when Yagen offers him the eyepatch, blinking for a split-second before he musters up enough energy for a grateful smile. ]

Thanks.

[ Slipping it on casually now. He's still careful to obscure his right eye (or what remains of it) from view, though. ]

Don't think I've said this enough before, but - thanks. Really. For doing these things.

[ Such as taking care of people when Mitsutada is away. Fellow Team Moms need to appreciate each other. ]
candlecutterpikachu: (is sada-chan coming here?)

[ He smiles, sighing. They're of the same mind, then. ]

It feels nice seeing people happy, doesn't it?
