☼ BEACH VACATION MEME ☼ Summer begins, and the saniwa's army earns a well deserved vacation. All expenses paid for by their organization, from travel to lodging to food, and yes, even the swim wear and toys. The water is blue, the skies are (mostly) clear, and it's time to have some fun at the beach! Watch out for the jellyfish and KBseagulls. ***Feel free to include some prompts in your top level. If you can't think of any, pick from below for some ideas!** 001.IN THE WATER This is why you're here, right? Take to the water and splash around. Now might be a good time to learn to swim if you don't already. But watch out! Here comes a large wave--! 002.SANDCASTLES This is it... the enemy's stronghold... not! It's a race against the clock to build a castle before the tide comes in. Collect those seashells, fortify your fortress, and don't be a jerk and ruin some else's castle. 003.SUNBATHING or maybe you've opted to sit under the shade of a large umbrella instead. Some times it's good to just sit back, relax, and watch to make sure no one needs to be rescued later. Keep an eye on the tide or you might find yourself getting wet anyway. 004. BEACH ANIMALS There are tiny fish in the tide pools, crabs crawling around, and uwah are those sea turtles?! Tsurumaru, put that octopus down right now. Ouch, did that jellyfish get you? And look, over there! That's a dolphin! You know, dolphins are intelligent creatures and have been known to help people-- WAIT NO ITS A SHARK ITS A SHARK NOT A FRIENDLY FISH IT LOOKS LIKE A DOLPHIN BUT ITS A SHARK. 005.MELON SLICING The organization has been kind enough to provide food and drink as well. They must have felt very clever sending all of those watermelons, though. Really, who needs that many watermelons? It's a competition to see which sword is the True Melonslasher. 006.STORM Those clouds came in so quickly, you barely had a chance to notice. The sky is dark, the rain is pouring down, and the wind is blowing cold. It's time to quickly collect your things and try to find some place dry. 007.KBCGULLS. Oh no, who fed the seagulls? They're circling around like vultures and making swoops at you, trying to steal your food. Hey, wait, that's not even edible! Was it just you or was there an evil glint in that bird's eye just now...? 008.BEACH PARTY. All of those watermelons you sliced earlier are being put to use. The sun is setting, the food is out, and a bonfire is going on the beach. Eat your heart out and dance around the fire. Watch the sunset, look at the stars, this sure is nice, isn't it? 009.WILDCARD. Mix and match. Create your own prompt. Find the dragon king's palace or something.

[Exactly...we all remember then well, when they served the Saniwa with great loyalty, only to be broken because Jiji died. They lived a fruitful(?) life.]

Yes. The map does not detail what we are getting ourselves into. Only steps and a tree.

[And there we go, torches, check! That was the most easiest on their imaginary checklist, where all they needed to do is pick it up. And now they just need to get their swords, but that's totally right. No metal off their blades...ha...ha... (no i legit died)

Though, making camp. Hmm, that is a fair point, they will need provisions. They weren't exactly packed for camping, but as swords and warriors, it doesn't bother them either. Plus God should really move that treasure now and just hand it to them, because this is seriously turning into an expedition. Next minute? Horses.]

We should still bring a bag, just in case. But yes, a note. I do not wish for Aruji to worry. [Just Aruji. Everyone else can suuuuck diiiick--just kidding. He still thinks Aruji >>>>> the rest though.]

[ And they will scuttle towards the movement while Kogitsunemaru finally tip-toes away, leaving the crab circle participants to snap the seaweed into tiny bits. The little fox, with a big grin, happy to escape what could have been a big issue. ]

Thank you, Japan-san. [ He feels comfortable enough to talk again, now that he's away from them. ] Shall we go back to the umbrellas and blankets? [ He'll turn and start in that direction, unknowing to the fact that the boss crab has attached itself to his 'tail'. ]

[ He tried to make a few swords, mostly the tantou because they were just easier to make compared to one of the oodachi. Kogitsunemaru is sure that Ishikirimaru wouldn't have minded an attempt of his likeness, right? ]

Next time, I'll make sure to surprise you in a different way. [ He keeps his eyes forward, but he's definitely grinning. They're almost at the waterline, the sand clear of shells and a gentle warm breeze coming off of the water. Mikazuki is free to gather a full bucket for their small trip back, though it's nice to stand in the water for a moment. ]

[ With the water that the other sword brings, the head should be easy to make! He's had a ton of practice already, so it'll just take a little bit of time. The little sand fox will be resting his head on its paws! ]

I think I can find some use for them.

[ He'll place one of the sea shells gently on top of the fox's newly formed head. It looks a little weird, but after he takes a second to position it, it's almost like a leaf. Kind of. Sort of.

BUT WHO WANTS TO BE A BROADSWORD not Kashuu... He quite thinks he's the perfect size just the way he is!! The proud air he's suddenly posturing with would probably look a little more impressive if he didn't still have a handful of cookie s'mores, but hey, close enough.]

Ex-act-ly! I'll leave that kinda showing off to the oodachi. [Waving the s'mores around emphatically!] You don't need size to be impressive.

[ TIME TO GO! He'll grab Vietnam's arm and pull her along, mostly to let her catch up speed-wise (she's probably faster than him anyway, so that shouldn't take too long, right).

But oh man, there's a lot of crabs. Some probably came from the water to join up with the slowly growing army of crabs moving unnaturally fast. ]

Suggestions, Vietnam? [ KEEP MOVING, STAMPEDE OF CRABS COMING, HOPEFULLY NO ONE GETS IN THE WAY ]

Whoa--!! [And as he grabs her, she runs quickly after him!! She's quick, but her legs are still shorter than his, so she needs to run more quickly in comparison, but there, caught up!

This is abnormal! [She takes a look behind her as before continuing.] They are too fast for us to hide. Unless we try to get to higher ground? [Climb a tree?! Can these crabs climb?!]

he'll be very careful. he'll even put it back neater than before so that way whenever they do go home, it'll be easier for kashuu to return it to their normal locations back in the citadel. yep, thank team mom. ]

His eyes search for trees, any trees. Oh, there are some (and he'll point at them) but they're farther ahead and closer to land than the water. They'll have to turn in that direction and hope the wave of crabs doesn't catch them. ]

That way! [ He points, risking a second to look behind them and WHAT?! Reinforcements?! ]

[THAT'S TRUE, OTHERWISE THEY'RE DEAD. Or she'll have to kill them all. She'd rather not though, they did intrude into crab territory.

Once he points them out, she nods and follows them. She notices his shocked face though, and glances back before looking forward immediately.]

What, you want me to eat it in ten seconds? No way. [He can't eat that gracefully!! Tragically, that is a superhuman talent that's passed by his door.

Tragically for her, there isn't any rum or sake around, either! At least not in this beach bum's cooler. He just has stupidly expensive bottles of artisan water and fancy fizzy lemonade.]

[ Desserts and sweets are serious business and not something to take lightly. He takes the ingredients and lays them carefully in his lap. Yamanbagiri looks at the stick, turning it over in his hands. This must be something used to cook the s'more, or maybe he needed to help the fire stay lit. ]

[ He tries to spin on his heels to yank his cloak from the clutch of the seagull. The motion combined with the board thrust by Aizen frees the cloak but also pulls out some strands of thread. They remain in the gull's mouth. Yamanbagiri takes the opportunity to go to Aizen's side, glowering at the flock. ]

They keep attacking my cloak.

Yes. Faster. [ They're so close to the tree! Kogi will slow down just for a second to let Vietnam climb up first (it was his fault that she got dragged into this odd mess). It's a palm tree, not exactly the best for scaling, but it'll hold them both hopefully long enough for the crabs to go away. ]

Go on up! [ THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A NICE DAY WHYYYYYyyyyy ]

[A palm tree, this is going to be awkward. She quickly smooths down her clothes first and thank the heavens she's wearing something on top of her beachwear right now otherwise chafing?!

Quickly, she grips onto the tree and starts to scale, being as fast as she can so that she can give enough room for Kogitsunemaru to follow. He's a big little fox, after all!]

Kogitsunemaru!

[She's climbed enough for now, so she holds out her hand so he can have enough leverage to make the leap up the tree instead of having to climb up from scratch.]

You put one of these on it! Or two, I guess.

[Or like, ten if you're an oodachi... But he holds the bag of marshmallows out.]

The stick is clean, so don't worry about that. You just stick it right on and hold it over the fire until it turns brown and starts getting poofier! Be careful not to burn it.

[ Secretly, he's glad that the findings are useful to Kogitsunemaru, but he's hesitant to admit it to himself. Yamanbagiri moves closer to the sand fox to view it better and at different angles. ]

It's a nice hat, and you've gotten better with each one.

[ It's not perfect, but unless Kogitsunemaru presses for more information, he's not going to say anything bad about it. It does look like a fox, and he thinks the other sword can be proud of that work. ]

( Hachisuka has truly raised him well. At least, when it comes to being considerate towards others... that aren't fakes, of course! Not that Urashima took that last part to heart. )

I'll help you! ( It's the least he can do and he doesn't have a lot. ) ... What do you even have in there?

( It... looks like a lot and Urashima can't really understand when literally all he brought with him for this entire trip was able to fit in the same pack as Hachisuka. A change of clothes, his swim shorts, and a frisbee someone gave him! Of course, that doesn't mean Hachisuka isn't lugging around his own bag with everything for the two of them... It's easy being the little brother when you have such a responsible older one that spoils you. )

[When you remove the dark thoughts of revenge from Sayo, he's still a tantou inexperienced and naive of many different things.]

...Eight is a good number. [He looks down at the jellyfish again, giving it another light squish. Cool, slimy and colourful. He gives a nod and smile lightly] Let's bring eight of them home afterwards.

[After they stay out at night and watch the jellyfish, and they finish the rest of this vacation without any regrets. Well, except for certain swords and their own regrettable reactions.]
