It's a good sentiment to have, nevertheless. They were brought to life to be useful, after all - and the innate desire of all swords to serve still remained.

"I think you'll be on the front lines soon, if the other older swords' experiences are anything to judge by." That was what they were made for, most of them. "Though how often will depend on the Saniwa's decision."

She always made good ones.
