[Perhaps you're going out on a walk during this nice, sunny day. Or maybe you're returning from working in the fields or tending to the horses. Important work to be done, or simply relaxing for the swords who aren't sent out onto a sortie or an expedition. However one may choose to fill their time at this point, they would have to walk past this tree at one point.

Until a persimmon dropped onto the ground near them. Or if they're unlucky, it dropped onto their head.]

...Ah.

[Sitting up on one of the tree branch above them, looking down with an awkward and mildly sheepish expression, is Sayo.]

...Sorry. I dropped it by accident.

[Such a sad yet simple image, a lonely persimmon in a sea of soybeans. There is probably something artistic or philosophical about it.

But alas, such a thing is not Sayo's forte, despite one of his masters being a man of the arts.

Sayo looks down at Kogitsunemaru and after flipping for a scenario nods.]

Yes, I would like a basket.

[Because all of these persimmons look great. Sayo's been thinking of getting a bunch and bringing them to the kitchens later. And maybe share them? Like with his brothers and the saniwa...]

[ Luckily for Sayo, Kogitsunemaru suddenly remembers seeing a lone basket sitting in the field near the row of carrots. Some lazy worker must have left one behind. The saniwa planted them thinking they'd help with nighttime scouting, given their propensity to help with eyesight.

... so many carrots were eaten.

Oh right. The basket. ]

I'll be right back, Sayo. Don't go anywhere.

[ He leaves his soybeans (and the sad persimmon) underneath Sayo's spot in the tree. Worst case scenario, maybe they'd catch him if he were to fall... well, Kogi might get back in time. The fields aren't that far away. Hey, don't tantou always land on their feet? Like cats? ]

Okay.

[And like that, Sayo stay there obediently and waits for Kogitsunemaru's return. Although he did eye the basket and then the other persimmons in the tree. Maybe he can grab some more until the little fox is back?

Whenever he returns, Sayo can be seen dropping a persimmon down into the basket. Going down...down...down...down and lands.]

[ It didn't take Kogitsunemaru very long to find the isolated basket, it was exactly where he remembered it. It was even empty, too! It'll be great for those persimmons! Then he watches the fruit plummet. Good thing it would be cushioned by... oh.

Suddenly Kogi is happy he returned just in time to help save his soybean buddies Sayo gather some of the persimmons! ]

Sayo, how about you try dropping some of those tasty things into this basket instead? And if you were to miss, I'll try to catch them!

[ He looks at his soybean basket. At least now the first persimmon has a friend. ]

[Sayo looks over at Kogitsunemaru and nods. Sure, he can do that. Plus, the food will be all neatly sorted.]

Okay. Try to catch them all.

[It would be a shame if they hit the ground. Sure, their skin will protect them from most of the impact, but...]
