[Perhaps you're going out on a walk during this nice, sunny day. Or maybe you're returning from working in the fields or tending to the horses. Important work to be done, or simply relaxing for the swords who aren't sent out onto a sortie or an expedition. However one may choose to fill their time at this point, they would have to walk past this tree at one point.

Until a persimmon dropped onto the ground near them. Or if they're unlucky, it dropped onto their head.]

...Ah.

[Sitting up on one of the tree branch above them, looking down with an awkward and mildly sheepish expression, is Sayo.]

...Sorry. I dropped it by accident.

Yes. And with Master, if they want one.

[It's fortunate that the saniwa is a fairly decent person. A good enough master to for Sayo to move past his distrust. After he picked out enough fruits - it would be too greedy of him to get all of them - he sits back down on the branch and looks down at Mikazuki.]

[Yep, totally cute.]

That's very kind of you.

[Mikazuki caught up the remaining fruits and looked back up at Sayo as he sat on the branch.]

... Do you want me to catch you?

[Because it looks like Sayo doesn't know how to get down.]

[Being unintentionally cute without knowing it, that's Sayo.]

...You don't mind?

[Not that Sayo minds being caught by other people. Only, well, he did a little. It just seems kind of odd with Mikazuki catching him compared to his brothers or the saniwa.]

[That's a great kind of cute.]

Not at all.

[At least Mikazuki's reflexes were much better than his skills with farming tools for example.]

Unless you're not comfortable with it.

[He shakes his head.]

...It's alright. I want to be sure. [Since it's... Mikazuki Munechika.] Are you ready?

[mikazuki_munechika]

Very well.

[Mikazuki holds his arms out.]

I'm ready when you are.

[After a brief moment to gauge the distance between them, Sayo nods before he shift his legs over. Once they're both on one side, he slides off and let himself fall into Mikazuki's arms.

Fear? What fear? He rarely feel afraid, so why start now?]

[mikazuki_munechika]

[And Mikazuki catches Sayo with ease and puts him down carefully. Then he pets his head.]

Thank you for your hard work.

[He looks up at Mikazuki with a blink, not really resisting the gesture. It's not too different from what his brothers would give him.]

...You're welcomed.

[But it is nice, having his head pet like this.]

[Now that he praised Sayo and they have collectex plenty of fruit Mikazuki went to pick up as many of the persimmons he had put aside as he could and smiled at him.]

Shall we take these to the citadel then?

[Sayo watches him for a moment, before he, too, bends down and pick up as much of the persimmons as he can carry. It would be easier if they both split the load between them.

He looks up and nods. Yep, let's go.]

[mikazuki_munechika]

[They will manage it somehow.]

And off we go.

[Mikazuki hums happily to himself as they walk back to the citadel.]

[Sayo walks right beside him, heading back to the citadel while being careful with his load.

And thus, the army will have a nice pile of persimmons to eat.]
