☼ BEACH VACATION MEME ☼ Summer begins, and the saniwa's army earns a well deserved vacation. All expenses paid for by their organization, from travel to lodging to food, and yes, even the swim wear and toys. The water is blue, the skies are (mostly) clear, and it's time to have some fun at the beach! Watch out for the jellyfish and KBseagulls. ***Feel free to include some prompts in your top level. If you can't think of any, pick from below for some ideas!** 001.IN THE WATER This is why you're here, right? Take to the water and splash around. Now might be a good time to learn to swim if you don't already. But watch out! Here comes a large wave--! 002.SANDCASTLES This is it... the enemy's stronghold... not! It's a race against the clock to build a castle before the tide comes in. Collect those seashells, fortify your fortress, and don't be a jerk and ruin some else's castle. 003.SUNBATHING or maybe you've opted to sit under the shade of a large umbrella instead. Some times it's good to just sit back, relax, and watch to make sure no one needs to be rescued later. Keep an eye on the tide or you might find yourself getting wet anyway. 004. BEACH ANIMALS There are tiny fish in the tide pools, crabs crawling around, and uwah are those sea turtles?! Tsurumaru, put that octopus down right now. Ouch, did that jellyfish get you? And look, over there! That's a dolphin! You know, dolphins are intelligent creatures and have been known to help people-- WAIT NO ITS A SHARK ITS A SHARK NOT A FRIENDLY FISH IT LOOKS LIKE A DOLPHIN BUT ITS A SHARK. 005.MELON SLICING The organization has been kind enough to provide food and drink as well. They must have felt very clever sending all of those watermelons, though. Really, who needs that many watermelons? It's a competition to see which sword is the True Melonslasher. 006.STORM Those clouds came in so quickly, you barely had a chance to notice. The sky is dark, the rain is pouring down, and the wind is blowing cold. It's time to quickly collect your things and try to find some place dry. 007.KBCGULLS. Oh no, who fed the seagulls? They're circling around like vultures and making swoops at you, trying to steal your food. Hey, wait, that's not even edible! Was it just you or was there an evil glint in that bird's eye just now...? 008.BEACH PARTY. All of those watermelons you sliced earlier are being put to use. The sun is setting, the food is out, and a bonfire is going on the beach. Eat your heart out and dance around the fire. Watch the sunset, look at the stars, this sure is nice, isn't it? 009.WILDCARD. Mix and match. Create your own prompt. Find the dragon king's palace or something.

It's a hit! The other seagulls squawk in shock and anger as the hit gull shakes its head and decides to retreat. Not trying to give the rest seagulls a chance to recover and regroup, Yamanbagiri throws a handful of shell fragments to rain down on them. What he lacks in aim, he hopes numbers will make up for it. ]

This food is not for you!

[ Maybe if they continue the aggressive assault, the gulls will leave and bother someone else. Like beach picnicking KBC. ]

[EXCELLENT WORK WITH THE MARSHMALLOW, COMRADE. Kashuu's taken a second stick to skewer a marshmallow with, so he can give his mess of a s'mores a try, too.]

That is a good question. Perhaps that is why this map lacks information. Each step we take, more information will reveal itself.

[Exactly, if they might worry the others, they might as well go all out to make this as fast and efficient as possible. Having horses would help. Besides, there are not narrow streets. They can totally bring horses with them. The tantous don't have all the advantages here.

He moves towards the rest of the camp now, making sure that they have all their belongings with them so they can put it back before exchanging it for actual armour and swords (so much for a holiday).]

They should not worry, if it is a simple task of just retrieving treasure. And yes, we are all-rounders. They should worry about us even less than the others. [Uchigatana pride?! They'll totally be fine! Besides, they might not be one of the faster classes of swords, but they are still some of the quickest. Just look at those tachis. Hasebe knows he can out run them all and laugh of them if he was being incredibly assholy that day.

Naaah, they'll be fine. They won't be lost to sea. Though if they do end up floating off on a raft, pretty sure with their RAGE they'll manage to beat up the one who did it once they get back.]

[Done! Now it's just waiting out. Which is unfortunate. And the crabs seem to know that they can't be up there forever. So there they are, looking and waiting...

[ Yamanbagiri doesn't look at Aizen as his attention darts around to their nearby surroundings for something he can use as a weapon. There needs to be something he can use... He doesn't want to have Aizen do all the fighting even if he's a highly spirited tantou. ]

[ Starter sword solidarity. Once the marshmallow is done cooking, Yamanbagiri grabs his snickerdoodles and milk chocolate to make his sandwich of campfire goodness. ]

[ He takes a bite of the treat, barely waiting for the s'more to cool enough to not burn him. He looks quite pleased by the outcome. ]

[ He'll rub his chin with his pointer finger, thumb resting on the side. How many foxes did he make?... must have been like... four or five. Maybe six. They sort of got bigger as he got more confident with his creating. The one he just finished is probably the largest one so far, closest to life-size. ]

Ah, I made some foxes closer to the water. Perhaps there will be seashells down by the seashore?

[ They're not his best work, but hey, he could touch them up a bit and they'll be good as new! ]

[ Waiting, waiting, waiting... oh goodness. This is not what Kogitsunemaru had in mind for a vacation, especially because it ruins Vietnam's fun time as well. He'll make a mental note to never upset a crab ever again, especially if they're kind-of-giant enemy crabs.

But, oh. Ooh. Pets?! Well, he can't say no to those. It'll definitely calm him down.

[ Mister Crab is done. He's sick of these two jerks and he's outtie. After blowing a bubble at Japan, he'll yield to the pulls and flop off, scuttling back into the water.

And he'll laugh at the impression, the tiny fox probably would have tried to argue that it didn't sound like him at all but that'd only make them both laugh, right? ]

Good! Let's go, then. [ Kogitsunemaru will lead the way, sticking to Mikazuki's side until they reach where they were before, and he will sit down in the sand. ]

Getting eight won't be the hardest thing, I think that you having to find names for each and every one of them will.

[ There's no way that people can have pets without them having names, they will be part of the family. Allowing Sayo to keep holding the creature, Yamato reaches for his bucket and wonders if a bigger one would be in order. ]

This will be our first time ever seeing something like this so just think how nice it'll be back at home where everyone can see? You know, it's pretty weird when someone who likes to hear their own voice isn't making a sound anymore. It's a little too tranquil and it just feels more calm than it's ever been before but why? Tell him why? Well, when he turns around and sees that Kashuu has made a run for it towards the ocean, he's able to connect one and one to make Two.

Picking up a few rocks off the beach's sand, he starts to chase after Kashuu, throwing rocks at him in hopes that he'll stop! ]

Stop!! I know what you're about to do and I swear if you do it someone isn't going to make it home!!!

The one who isn't gonna make it home is this thing!!

[He LOUDLY DECLARES while nyooming his was down toward the shore like his feet are on fire. Who knew he could run so fast in beach sandals?? He just has some sort of latent talent for running at warp speeds in shoes that shouldn't be easy to run in. Either way, he is DETERMINED now, so even though Yamato's chucking rocks at him like a dang demon, he just dodges to the best of his ability and continues until he's splashed his way knee-deep into the sea...

And once he's there, he chucks the jellyfish out into the distant waters. It lands with a satisfying little plunk and a teeny tiny jellyfish-sized splash. Bye small comrade, you have been saved.]

[TRUE PERFECTION who wouldn't want to sit down and become part of the viewership for that?]

Oooh, we can! Y'know, I read that some people buy these metal pits that they keep outside and they can just light fires in them whenever and use it to cook stuff. Pretty weird, right?

[AH, FIREPITS... So useful when it comes to s'mores.]

[ Everyone should. Every sword wants to surprise their saniwa with yummy things. Except maybe Tsurumaru. He likes surprises of his own kind. ]

I'll go on extra expeditions to get the supplies and funds needed if that's true.

[ Every other sword can do the heroic battles. He'll make sure they have a working and well stocked fire pit. It's a duty fitting for the duplicate. The saniwa will approve, right? ]

[ STOP someone has to be smart, how will he live this way if he don't leave his homies behind. ]

We aren't unable to finish this so this will be an easy task for us!

[ The preparations aren't as extensive as they seem, it's just that they need both their armory and a way of travel. Who knew the beach is where swords like uchigatanas would gain their buffs! Goodbye tantous.. who needs you now when it's our time to shine? Who knows, maybe even Yamato and Hasebe will get a recollection scene because of this!

When they finally get to camp, Yamato drops the torches onto the ground (they have to be re-lit when they go off on their adventure) and his stomach even growls not any second later. They'd need to take food with them too, this is important. ]

I hope they're proud of what we bring back, it almost feels like an expedition it's been awhile since one of those.

[ It's time to tie the wakizashi's shoe laces so that the uchigatanas can be much faster! This is a shame, where is their right! What do they have to call their own! Uchigatana pride is here, honestly! They should try that out, running from a tachi, Yamato has heard about something called a smack cam and apparently after it's done, you run. Both he and Hasebe should try that out!

Will they be OK? Hopefully they won't get lost? I'm pretty sure there's some decent swords who'd come and get them? Horikawa? Urashima? Whoever is about the water will come for them and unleash the uchigatanas anger out in the world if done wrong.

Wearing armory is the best for protection but with Yamato's 3000 layers of clothing, this may take awhile. He does have to put on everything in the correct order like the black shoulder to arm gear - all the way to his haori that he wears proudly. This probably takes about fifteen minutes which Yamato does realize he has to apologize for the wait. ]
