☼ BEACH VACATION MEME ☼ Summer begins, and the saniwa's army earns a well deserved vacation. All expenses paid for by their organization, from travel to lodging to food, and yes, even the swim wear and toys. The water is blue, the skies are (mostly) clear, and it's time to have some fun at the beach! Watch out for the jellyfish and KBseagulls. ***Feel free to include some prompts in your top level. If you can't think of any, pick from below for some ideas!** 001.IN THE WATER This is why you're here, right? Take to the water and splash around. Now might be a good time to learn to swim if you don't already. But watch out! Here comes a large wave--! 002.SANDCASTLES This is it... the enemy's stronghold... not! It's a race against the clock to build a castle before the tide comes in. Collect those seashells, fortify your fortress, and don't be a jerk and ruin some else's castle. 003.SUNBATHING or maybe you've opted to sit under the shade of a large umbrella instead. Some times it's good to just sit back, relax, and watch to make sure no one needs to be rescued later. Keep an eye on the tide or you might find yourself getting wet anyway. 004. BEACH ANIMALS There are tiny fish in the tide pools, crabs crawling around, and uwah are those sea turtles?! Tsurumaru, put that octopus down right now. Ouch, did that jellyfish get you? And look, over there! That's a dolphin! You know, dolphins are intelligent creatures and have been known to help people-- WAIT NO ITS A SHARK ITS A SHARK NOT A FRIENDLY FISH IT LOOKS LIKE A DOLPHIN BUT ITS A SHARK. 005.MELON SLICING The organization has been kind enough to provide food and drink as well. They must have felt very clever sending all of those watermelons, though. Really, who needs that many watermelons? It's a competition to see which sword is the True Melonslasher. 006.STORM Those clouds came in so quickly, you barely had a chance to notice. The sky is dark, the rain is pouring down, and the wind is blowing cold. It's time to quickly collect your things and try to find some place dry. 007.KBCGULLS. Oh no, who fed the seagulls? They're circling around like vultures and making swoops at you, trying to steal your food. Hey, wait, that's not even edible! Was it just you or was there an evil glint in that bird's eye just now...? 008.BEACH PARTY. All of those watermelons you sliced earlier are being put to use. The sun is setting, the food is out, and a bonfire is going on the beach. Eat your heart out and dance around the fire. Watch the sunset, look at the stars, this sure is nice, isn't it? 009.WILDCARD. Mix and match. Create your own prompt. Find the dragon king's palace or something.

[ Maybe going to a much older sword isn't the BEST thing but this is a good choice, Jiji is in the state of nirvana and doesn't have to learn about these humanly things. He's like a God among mere sword mortals in a way so maybe it's understandable for him to be confused if he was given this. ]

Then we should prepare ourselves for this, who knows what could be guarding whatever is at the end of this.

[ I mean, this was all fun and games until this became a mission? So armor would be needed along with their troops, they can't let their guard down even if the person who created the map sounds a bit spunky. ]

[ Looking around the area, he notices a tiki torches that are lined up that aren't too far away. The fire upon it is huge but it's a bit longer than Yamato would want it to be. Cutting away a part of it does sound ideal so pointing it out as he moves towards it, pulling it out of the sand and bringing it towards Hasebe with a smile. ]

Will this do? I could get you one as well, we just have to shorten it if we want to carry them along?

[Exactly, one look at this map, and he probably would convulse and die. The saniwa would kill them.]

Then we should bring our swords as well. [Well, not like they don't bring it along with them, but they've practically been leaving it around.] Should we be suddenly ambushed, we will not be caught unprepared. [Hasebe, please, it's a map from lord knows when. But then Yamato had the same idea, practically suggesting a whole army. Sweet.

He observes the uchigatana carefully as he retrieves a tiki torch. Were they anyone else who were in with the times, Hasebe would've suggested they just get something else! But instead, he raises his hand to stroke his chin.]

Very well, they will do once we cut them down. It will also keep us warm, and in the event that we are in need of a flame, it will help. [Who the hell let swords do this shit.]

[ Saniwa waited 3000 years for that four hour timer, if Jiji breaks.. I guess say goodbye to them. Every sword that played a big part into Jiji's lifespan going goodbye. ]

Who knows what type of stronghold could be protecting this treasure.

[ Getting their swords would be an easy task, he recalls leaving his in the area where his clothes were. Some others were likely to do the same and it isn't too unknown to see some of them carry their swords at all times. Their blades are sharp enough to cut through the wood of the torch so moving back towards the torches, he grabs one more so that both his hands are full. [ Should they bring food? Should they bring something they can sleep in? There's so many unanswered question and God must be wondering why he allowed these two to find a treasure map for fun since they're taking this as seriously as possible. God is slowly closing his clouds on them. ]

Should we also leave a note to the others so they don't think we've ran away or disappeared when we go to retrieve our swords?

[Exactly...we all remember then well, when they served the Saniwa with great loyalty, only to be broken because Jiji died. They lived a fruitful(?) life.]

Yes. The map does not detail what we are getting ourselves into. Only steps and a tree.

[And there we go, torches, check! That was the most easiest on their imaginary checklist, where all they needed to do is pick it up. And now they just need to get their swords, but that's totally right. No metal off their blades...ha...ha... (no i legit died)

Though, making camp. Hmm, that is a fair point, they will need provisions. They weren't exactly packed for camping, but as swords and warriors, it doesn't bother them either. Plus God should really move that treasure now and just hand it to them, because this is seriously turning into an expedition. Next minute? Horses.]

We should still bring a bag, just in case. But yes, a note. I do not wish for Aruji to worry. [Just Aruji. Everyone else can suuuuck diiiick--just kidding. He still thinks Aruji >>>>> the rest though.]

[ Only you remember because Yamato isn't having this.. He knows not to be anywhere when Jiji and the Saniwa are not or in the same place. He knows better. He's a good egg (sword). ]

A tree... and do you think more secrets are written on it when we find it?

[ If they're getting ready like this, Yamato wouldn't see why they wouldn't go to a stable and get horses. They need to be faster on their toes anyway, uchigatanas may be all rounders but wakizashis are the speed within their set of swords and since they are neither..

Holding the torches close to him so that he can follow the other when he does move, Yamato gives a nod because he's happy that the note will be used. What if everyone gets worried? But then again, what if this is a ploy to raft them off to sea? Will they be OK? ]

That is a good question. Perhaps that is why this map lacks information. Each step we take, more information will reveal itself.

[Exactly, if they might worry the others, they might as well go all out to make this as fast and efficient as possible. Having horses would help. Besides, there are not narrow streets. They can totally bring horses with them. The tantous don't have all the advantages here.

He moves towards the rest of the camp now, making sure that they have all their belongings with them so they can put it back before exchanging it for actual armour and swords (so much for a holiday).]

They should not worry, if it is a simple task of just retrieving treasure. And yes, we are all-rounders. They should worry about us even less than the others. [Uchigatana pride?! They'll totally be fine! Besides, they might not be one of the faster classes of swords, but they are still some of the quickest. Just look at those tachis. Hasebe knows he can out run them all and laugh of them if he was being incredibly assholy that day.

Naaah, they'll be fine. They won't be lost to sea. Though if they do end up floating off on a raft, pretty sure with their RAGE they'll manage to beat up the one who did it once they get back.]

We aren't unable to finish this so this will be an easy task for us!

[ The preparations aren't as extensive as they seem, it's just that they need both their armory and a way of travel. Who knew the beach is where swords like uchigatanas would gain their buffs! Goodbye tantous.. who needs you now when it's our time to shine? Who knows, maybe even Yamato and Hasebe will get a recollection scene because of this!

When they finally get to camp, Yamato drops the torches onto the ground (they have to be re-lit when they go off on their adventure) and his stomach even growls not any second later. They'd need to take food with them too, this is important. ]

I hope they're proud of what we bring back, it almost feels like an expedition it's been awhile since one of those.

[ It's time to tie the wakizashi's shoe laces so that the uchigatanas can be much faster! This is a shame, where is their right! What do they have to call their own! Uchigatana pride is here, honestly! They should try that out, running from a tachi, Yamato has heard about something called a smack cam and apparently after it's done, you run. Both he and Hasebe should try that out!

Will they be OK? Hopefully they won't get lost? I'm pretty sure there's some decent swords who'd come and get them? Horikawa? Urashima? Whoever is about the water will come for them and unleash the uchigatanas anger out in the world if done wrong.

Wearing armory is the best for protection but with Yamato's 3000 layers of clothing, this may take awhile. He does have to put on everything in the correct order like the black shoulder to arm gear - all the way to his haori that he wears proudly. This probably takes about fifteen minutes which Yamato does realize he has to apologize for the wait. ]
