☼ BEACH VACATION MEME ☼
Summer begins, and the saniwa's army earns a well deserved vacation. All expenses paid for by their organization, from travel to lodging to food, and yes, even the swim wear and toys. The water is blue, the skies are (mostly) clear, and it's time to have some fun at the beach! Watch out for the jellyfish and KBseagulls.

001.IN THE WATER This is why you're here, right? Take to the water and splash around. Now might be a good time to learn to swim if you don't already. But watch out! Here comes a large wave--!

002.SANDCASTLES This is it... the enemy's stronghold... not! It's a race against the clock to build a castle before the tide comes in. Collect those seashells, fortify your fortress, and don't be a jerk and ruin some else's castle.

003.SUNBATHING or maybe you've opted to sit under the shade of a large umbrella instead. Some times it's good to just sit back, relax, and watch to make sure no one needs to be rescued later. Keep an eye on the tide or you might find yourself getting wet anyway.

004. BEACH ANIMALS There are tiny fish in the tide pools, crabs crawling around, and uwah are those sea turtles?! Tsurumaru, put that octopus down right now. Ouch, did that jellyfish get you? And look, over there! That's a dolphin! You know, dolphins are intelligent creatures and have been known to help people-- WAIT NO ITS A SHARK ITS A SHARK NOT A FRIENDLY FISH IT LOOKS LIKE A DOLPHIN BUT ITS A SHARK.

005.MELON SLICING The organization has been kind enough to provide food and drink as well. They must have felt very clever sending all of those watermelons, though. Really, who needs that many watermelons? It's a competition to see which sword is the True Melonslasher.

006.STORM Those clouds came in so quickly, you barely had a chance to notice. The sky is dark, the rain is pouring down, and the wind is blowing cold. It's time to quickly collect your things and try to find some place dry.

007.KBCGULLS. Oh no, who fed the seagulls? They're circling around like vultures and making swoops at you, trying to steal your food. Hey, wait, that's not even edible! Was it just you or was there an evil glint in that bird's eye just now...?

008.BEACH PARTY. All of those watermelons you sliced earlier are being put to use. The sun is setting, the food is out, and a bonfire is going on the beach. Eat your heart out and dance around the fire. Watch the sunset, look at the stars, this sure is nice, isn't it?

009.WILDCARD. Mix and match. Create your own prompt. Find the dragon king's palace or something.

Why is Kashuu Kiyomitsu, a slightly understandable uchigatana about five years old? The shriek that miraculously leaves from the other's lungs causes Yamato to turn around, catching the male throwing the starfish off somewhere else. Maybe all these sea creatures just love him for some reason and is why they want to latch, no diclosure.mp3 onto the other. Who knows, maybe the creatures believe Kashuu to be the King of the Sea and wants to bring him back? ]

What's wrong no-- I.. Why do you do that?

[ How dare he throw that starfish, we could possibly name Hijikata, like that? Yamato isn't going to request they go back to hunt after the starfish, he thinks it to be a star anyway, not like that has feelings. ]

Why are you yelling over an inanimate object? [ He sees nothing wrong? He didn't even get to see what was wrong since Kashuu is so quick to throw these animals around. ]

You're supposed to be searching for the squish with me, not throwing things. I'm starting to wonder how you're going to survive like this..

[He doesn't want to return to his watery domain... Shouldn't they be looking for Horikawa??

But he's looking at Yamato accusingly, like he chucked that starfish back on purpose with the express intention of getting it stuck to his face. Who knows, maybe he did?? The mind of Yamato is a mysterious and confusing place.]

Because it stuck itself to my face!! I almost died! [What a dang drama queen, good lord. He's touching his face delicately now, checking for any marks.]

I'm not gonna look for that stupid thing if you keep throwing animals around! Why do I even need to say that?!

[ Guess it's time to push Horikawa out on a raft and watch him return to his sea people..

It suck itself to his face? There's no way? It's just a star! It couldn't do that? With a shake of his head, he finds that the other is overreacting. When isn't he doing something that involves him or something hurting his person so that he can complain. ]

It couldn't have done that? It didn't do anything when I picked it up.. You're just imagining things, huh? You're looking for an excuse to not come? Don't be a coward, Kiyomitsu!

[ Why is Yamato getting blamed! He's done nothing to him? Kashuu is just imagining things.. like starfishes really hurt people. That baby. ]

You were the one who threw an animal first!! I don't even know where it went and it was a rock that I threw back, a star rock.

So you were gonna hit me with a rock?!

[Of course Kashuu finds a way to interpret that in the worst possible light. OF COURSE.]

And it totally was an animal. I could feel it moving, y'know! It was right there on my face, so I think I know better than you!

[It's not about cowardice, it's about not getting eaten by sea creatures?! Where's Horikawa to control his people.]

Where did you even get that idea? I didn't throw it at you!

[ Why is he like this, Yamato would't.. Not yet anyway. He hopes that ignoring Kashuu and his lies will help him just a bit. Focusing on the ground, he notices something that's so important that a smile comes to his face as he picks it up. It's the same jelly that was thrown not to long ago, it still looks.. gross as usual but whatever.

Walking over to Kashuu, he presses the jellyfish against the male's face. ]

It's still wet so maybe it'll feel good if you hold it like an ice pack?

[ Please don't scream. ]

["Please don't scream"... That's asking way too much of Kashuu, wow. Of course he screams?! THERE'S A JELLYFISH ON HIS FACE. A SANDY, GLOBBY, GROSS-ASS JELLYFISH!! He also stumbles back like the elegant ballerina he is, wiping at his cheek. He doesn't even have time to yell about rocks being thrown around because now he has to focus on this.]

Just stop, okay?! Put it back where it belongs and get it over with! I don't wanna see that thing again!

[It's now his MORTAL NEMESIS and it's all Yamato's fault. Maybe he would have liked jellyfish if he had just been able to observe them in the wild, but no!! Now his memory will forever be ruined by the feeling of slime in his hand and on his face.]

Just look at it for about five minutes and you'll understand how cute it is!

[ Yamato just stop, you've fucked up and now Kashuu is having a hard time with anything like a jellyfish. Wasn't it cold, soft and wet upon his skin? Doesn't that help smooth out his crows feet if he had them? When will he just enable Yamato so that they can continue messing with them? Even the male's shriek was enough to make the few KBCgulls fly away, startled from such a thing! Even in the sky, they're going to stare down at the duo.. they must be angry with them. ]

If I have to put it back will you find another animal I could bring back to the citadel with us? I was going to bring this one but..

[ The jellyfish sinks in sadly, maybe it hears Kashuu's mean ass words and is sad. Wtf Kashuu, apologize... ]

[He's not apologizing to a handful of jellied animal, okay... HE'S NOT GOING TO DO IT. Even though Yamato is who he has real beef with here, the jellyfish still can't be forgiven that easily.]

Why can't you just take a shell or something? D'you even know how to look after the animals around here?

[Anything living would die in their care so fast... Unless their saniwa had mercy on whatever it was and stepped in to take care of it instead, but that'd just be a hassle!!]

[ Just apologize to it so it can be happy, why is Kashuu like 5 years old. He does nod to show he DOES know how to take care of it, all it needs is water right? Maybe some food but that's easy to give right? It could be just like a cat that needed to eat something light and no sweets so it doesn't get sick. ]

Shells don't move, come on, even I know that? Are you worried you won't know how to take care of it, I'm sure it's simple?

[ It would die.. just like how Yamato is poking the poor fish over and over. When will it move? Will it die if it stays out of water too long? The sun is beaming. Where is Saniwa to take it now and save this poor jellyfish from impending doom. ]

It just needs to be loved, I'm sure you know how to do that.

[ Putting the jelly in the other's arms, he gives him a look that says a lot. Don't throw it or someone's arm is getting broken. ]

[WHY IS YAMATO 5 YEARS OLD oh my god.]

These things need more than that to survive!

[Like... water, presumably?! Something that soft and gushy surely can't survive on the hot and dry land for long... And what do jellyfish even eat? No one here knows! This is a disaster in the making.

...No, this is an actual disaster. Kashuu freezes up as soon as the jellyfish is touching him again because it's still gross. He's getting goosebumps, okay, this is nasty!! But... but. Yamato has just relinquished his hold on the jellyfish. It takes all of 2 seconds for him to decide what to do.

He books it like a rocket in the direction of the ocean.]

[ FUCK WHY IS HE 5 JUST CHILL OUT OH MY GOD ]

How do you know! You don't even know what they are.

[ YAMATO TURNS HIS BACK FOR 2 SECONDS, TWO!!! AND THIS IS WHAT KASHUU DOES, I'm tired.

You know, it's pretty weird when someone who likes to hear their own voice isn't making a sound anymore. It's a little too tranquil and it just feels more calm than it's ever been before but why? Tell him why? Well, when he turns around and sees that Kashuu has made a run for it towards the ocean, he's able to connect one and one to make Two.

Picking up a few rocks off the beach's sand, he starts to chase after Kashuu, throwing rocks at him in hopes that he'll stop! ]

Stop!! I know what you're about to do and I swear if you do it someone isn't going to make it home!!!

The one who isn't gonna make it home is this thing!!

[He LOUDLY DECLARES while nyooming his was down toward the shore like his feet are on fire. Who knew he could run so fast in beach sandals?? He just has some sort of latent talent for running at warp speeds in shoes that shouldn't be easy to run in. Either way, he is DETERMINED now, so even though Yamato's chucking rocks at him like a dang demon, he just dodges to the best of his ability and continues until he's splashed his way knee-deep into the sea...

And once he's there, he chucks the jellyfish out into the distant waters. It lands with a satisfying little plunk and a teeny tiny jellyfish-sized splash. Bye small comrade, you have been saved.]

[ NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WHY IS KASHUU A MENACE!!!! Yamato isn't able to save his soft jelly friend so in return once he's close to Kashuu he decides to hold his hands out forward and press them right against the other's back - forcing him to fall face first within the water. It doesn't take long until he hears a loud crash and he's happy that he's successful in something. Taking in what has happened, he looks forward to see that Kashuu is probably still there which brings a smile onto his features.

It doesn't take long until he starts laughing just a bit knowing how much this was probably not the ideal response for Kashuu at all. He finds it almost hilarious that he'd come out so far to throw that jellyfish and in the end, the loud smack into the water will probably make the other upset with him but he can't help it! Even through all that, Kashuu was able to carry the creature - no matter how gross it was, back to the sea so it could be saved and this is how the uchigatana is rewarded. A face full of sea.

Maybe that's what he deserves for throwing that poor jellyfish so way out!!! ]

[HOW IS KASHUU THE MENACE HERE when Yamato is the one A) stealing jellyfish with the express intent to accidentally murder it through neglect later and B) PUSHING POOR SWEET INNOCENT UCHIGATANAS INTO THE SEA. Does he understand how hard Kashuu's been trying to avoid letting his hair get beach damaged? He's read all about this, okay! Salt can take away the hair's shine! Sea water is really bad for the skin too because it's not nice and pure and filtered like the sea-based facial care products that he can buy in the store!! There's a split second after the splash where he's 99% sure he swallowed a mouthful of ocean too, and that's definitely not the thanks he wants for saving a poor jellyfish's life...

But of course, in true moron fashion, this only kicks him into a water-logged frenzy. He's stumbling back up and gunning for Yamato with a vengeance... It's hard to tell whether he's making an attempted tackle or if he's just using himself as a bowling ball to take Yamato down.]

Just drown already!!

[ Why is Kashuu trying to kill Yamato, I'm so tired? I'm tired? SO TIRED. Besides, it was all fun and games but even that doesn't go over Kashuu's head at all. The uchigatana targeting the other sword as it's enemy. Quickly, he dodges out of the way in order to make Kashuu rush into nothing and hopefully fall back into the sea. To be honest, this just won't be the end - not by a long shot. Considering who they are, Kashuu won't give up until he's had at least a few good hits onto Yamato's person. ]

You have to be better than that? Have you been slacking, Kiyomitsu? This is why you should do your chores than only sparring?

[ Besides, the water slightly slows movement and since all Yamato has to do is jump out the way. He's not effected that much by the sea, he just needs to jump before the gap between them isn't so small. ]

You won't be able to get me at this rate!

[JUST DESSERTS. Look, he's not aiming for murder, probably... Maybe. He sure is getting increasingly irritated, but that's pretty par for the course for Kashuu anyway.

It looks for a second like he might stumble, but luckily for him, he catches his balance before he crashes into the water a second time... Small miracles.]

I don't wanna hear that from you! [It's hard to leap like a graceful ballerina through the tide, but Kashuu is definitely doing the leaping part. Too bad he left his vessel with the saniwa or he could extend his reach even further BUT NO... He has to make do with his arm length! He's reaching out to try snatching up a handful of Yamato's shirt!!]

Huh? Wouldn't it be better from me than anyone else?

[ Sure, he could probably take a step back and fall into the ocean to avoid Kashuu from grabbing his attire but it seems the jellyfishes are against Yamato today. One of them swimming past his leg and since the water here is so clear; when he looks down, his attention is taken for that short moment as he feels a grip in his clothes. No! This wasn't suppose to happen, stepping over the jellyfish so he could move backwards. ]

It was just a joke! You know, if only that jellyfish hadn't gotten in the way, do you think I would have dodged you? Ahaha!

[ Of course, he's just teasing but the real problem at hand was getting the other to calm down. ]

[What is he even saying no to at this point?? Maybe just Yamato's entire existence.

Anyway, that jellyfish is a blessing and Kashuu is silently thanking it as he grabs hold of Yamato's shirt and starts SHAKING HIM VICIOUSLY. At least he's not trying to push him down into the water... yet.]

It was a stupid joke! You know how long it'll take to get this outta my hair?! Salt is super bad for your skin, too!! I'll have to detox for weeks and it's all 'cause you couldn't just put that gross thing back where it came from—!

It wasn't gross! Why couldn't we take it home! Maybe if you didn't throw it!

[ WHY IS HE SHAKING HIM!! HE'S SO TIRED OF THIS. Why does he have to be shaken like this but not stirred? Of course, he allows him to do this just for a bit but he tries to get himself out of the other's grip. Raising his hand so that he can grab the other's own arms so he can make him stop. ]

How do you even use detox, you don't even need that! [ Yamato doesn't even know what that is? What the hell is detox.. what rpg move is this. What the heck! Now placing his hands on the other's face so he can push him away, and this is the hands that touched the jellyfish!! Rubbing his dirty jellyfish hands on Kashuu's face.. ]

[He doesn't even have the chance to answer Yamato's question about detox!! Not that he really knows what it is either, he just sees it mentioned all of the time in his favorite fashion magazines... Detox masks, detox diets, something something PERFECT SKIN. He's on board every time something ends with "perfect" anything, though.

He's going to need like 1000 different face masks to remove all trace of these gross jellyfish hands, anyway!! He doesn't answer that not-question either, he just shrieks like a shrill angry harpy and launches himself forward with the intent of knocking Yamato into the sea... even if he'll also end up in the sea again WHATEVER, IT'S WORTH IT.]
