☼ BEACH VACATION MEME ☼
Summer begins, and the saniwa's army earns a well deserved vacation. All expenses paid for by their organization, from travel to lodging to food, and yes, even the swim wear and toys. The water is blue, the skies are (mostly) clear, and it's time to have some fun at the beach! Watch out for the jellyfish and KBseagulls.

001.IN THE WATER This is why you're here, right? Take to the water and splash around. Now might be a good time to learn to swim if you don't already. But watch out! Here comes a large wave--!

002.SANDCASTLES This is it... the enemy's stronghold... not! It's a race against the clock to build a castle before the tide comes in. Collect those seashells, fortify your fortress, and don't be a jerk and ruin some else's castle.

003.SUNBATHING or maybe you've opted to sit under the shade of a large umbrella instead. Some times it's good to just sit back, relax, and watch to make sure no one needs to be rescued later. Keep an eye on the tide or you might find yourself getting wet anyway.

004. BEACH ANIMALS There are tiny fish in the tide pools, crabs crawling around, and uwah are those sea turtles?! Tsurumaru, put that octopus down right now. Ouch, did that jellyfish get you? And look, over there! That's a dolphin! You know, dolphins are intelligent creatures and have been known to help people-- WAIT NO ITS A SHARK ITS A SHARK NOT A FRIENDLY FISH IT LOOKS LIKE A DOLPHIN BUT ITS A SHARK.

005.MELON SLICING The organization has been kind enough to provide food and drink as well. They must have felt very clever sending all of those watermelons, though. Really, who needs that many watermelons? It's a competition to see which sword is the True Melonslasher.

006.STORM Those clouds came in so quickly, you barely had a chance to notice. The sky is dark, the rain is pouring down, and the wind is blowing cold. It's time to quickly collect your things and try to find some place dry.

007.KBCGULLS. Oh no, who fed the seagulls? They're circling around like vultures and making swoops at you, trying to steal your food. Hey, wait, that's not even edible! Was it just you or was there an evil glint in that bird's eye just now...?

008.BEACH PARTY. All of those watermelons you sliced earlier are being put to use. The sun is setting, the food is out, and a bonfire is going on the beach. Eat your heart out and dance around the fire. Watch the sunset, look at the stars, this sure is nice, isn't it?

009.WILDCARD. Mix and match. Create your own prompt. Find the dragon king's palace or something.

Ice melts, though it probably wouldn't melt too quickly if it was thick enough. [ He brushes some sand off of his hakama before returning his hand to Mikazuki's side. ]

I think it's hard to have an imitation when the real thing is right here in my hand, hm?

I suppose we have to wait and see then.

[The hand by his side gets squeezed lightly.]

I think so as well.

[ A yawn breaks his smile. Something about lazing about in the sun, head resting on his Jijii, and feeling like everything was perfect brought a bit of exhaustion to his eyes and his body. ]

Ah... sorry. [ He chuckles lowly, resting against Mikazuki. ] Today has been such a pleasant day.

[Maybe it's time for that nap? Is it okay if he nuzzles that fluffy fur?]

It's alright, I don't mind.

Today really has been wonderful, hasn't it?

[ As if Mikazuki has to ask! ]

It's been... very nice. Too nice. If only every day could be like this, that would be perfect. [ Even though he could wish that 100%, that'd look bad for their true responsibilities, right?--- maybe when it's all said and done, and everything is safe... ]

[Silly him!]

It would be... but I enjoy the imperfect days just as much.

[And everything being perfect would eventually get boring, wouldn't it?]

As do I, but I don't wish to see anyone get injured... [ He doesn't have to say who specifically, right? It's probably felt.

And even if every day was perfect, yeah... it might get boring, but surely there'd be easier ways to spice things up other than a yari piercing through your troops or a boulder nearly crashing on your head. ]

... would you like to rest? That way, you can rest using my fur, hm?

[He doesn't have to and hopefully the small fox understands who Mikazuki means.

And yes, there are better things than getting attacked by enemy troops.]

Hmm, it would be foolish to decline your kind offer.

[Have one Jiji snuggling against that lovely fur.]

[ And have one Kogitsunemaru, sighing happily, letting his Jiji enjoy his white fur. He may even try to tug Mikazuki into his lap so that it'd be easier for him to snuggle, pulling as much of his hair over his shoulder for better access. ]

You're right, but there are no fools here.

[But Kogi, won't the other swords get jealous? ... Not that he actually minds, looking as comfy as he is.]

No fools, just this old man.

[He chuckles.]

[ Let them be jealous... it'd take a lot to get Kogi to share this kind of closeness with anyone but the other Sanjo tachi. There's not enough tofu in the world for that. ]

[ Chu!~ ]

[Then maybe they should make a cuddle pile once. All Sanjo's at one spot. Admit it, it would be nice.

Mikazuki smiles up at him.]

A small fox too.

[ It definitely would be... and he is quite fond of all of them, especially the one he's with. ]

... an odd couple, haha. But happy, mhm?

[ He's so comfortable and warm, blissful. ]

[What would it look like? Mikazuki sitting on Iwatooshi's lap, Imanotsurugi on his and Ishikiri and Kogitsune snuggling up at their sides? Then again Iwatooshi is big enough that they all could fit into his lap.]

What's so odd about a small fox and an old man? Or the moon instead of the old man?

[He laughs slightly.]

Very happy.

[ Haha, imagining Ishikiri snuggling anyone brings an even wider smile to his face. He can't help but chuckle! And Iwatooshi, the big one that he is... they could all fit for sure. Happy Sanjo family... ]

The fox and the moon... we'd be a story for the ages, huh?

[ Another peck. ]

Good... I think this place suits us pretty well.

[Well, any better idea what Ishikiri may do then? Either way it would be the Sanjo family cuddling each other happily.]

We would. I wonder what kind of story we would be?

[ Haha, he'll just have to deal! But even a holy sword like him would have to enjoy a little bit of family togetherness time... ]

No matter how it goes, I hope it ends happily ever after.

[ It's surely started and is that way now. With a dreamy smile on his face, he'll close his eyes and snuggle further into Mikazuki. ]

[Family is important, so he has to make room for Sanjo family times, even if things should get loud or wild.]

I hope so as well.

[And slowly Mikazuki will fall asleep on the fluffiness that is Kogitsunemaru.]
