[he would have to admit, being brought to life again felt a little weird. Mostly because it was hot, overbearingly so, as a blacksmith battered him into shape with whatever tools and magic were used in this time. Even so, once he was formed and ready to go, the discomfort seemed to shed, giving way for Iwatooshi to actually be himself again.

Soon after- with loud footsteps and a few painful-sounding thuds when he hits his head or shoulders against small door frames and hallways- the Citadel now has the unwelcome burden of a new naginata stomping around.]

Hey, hey! Where is my new master?? I didn't step on them, did I?

[he twists around, laughing and glancing at the floor and the bottom of one of his boots. ...and hey, how did he even get out of the smithy without meeting his Saniwa first?]

ii. repairs

'Sjust a scratch! A bug bit me or something!!

[and there it was again, the loud voice of Iwatooshi booming from the repair room as he is poked with antiseptics and plastered with bandages. It wasn't that he liked getting hurt, or even went looking for trouble without his Master's orders... he just doesn't really take much notice when he suffers heavy damage.]

I'll be fine-- hey! That stings! [he grits his teeth, one eye closed tight as a cut on his cheek is swabbed clean of blood and dirt.]

[Hey, he's not that--well, he's pretty tiny in comparison to Iwatooshi, it's true...]

Is it that we're small, or that you're incredibly large...?

[Nakigitsune blinks up at him, wondering if maybe he should...look around for their master? But giant........]

Ahem. If you're new here, is there anything you might need help with? Finding our master, maybe? Or a tour of the citadel?

[he blinks wide eyes at the smaller man and the fox, as if to say, "Are you saying everyone is not this big?" Honestly, Iwatooshi should be more aware of his size by now.]

Any of those things! I guess, most importantly, I would need to meet whoever is to be my new master. [he straightens himself out again, bringing his hand up to tap a sharp fingernail against this chin.]

Though seeing the sights around here wouldn't be bad either! Are there a lot of... 'us' here?

[Hm, hmm...Naki nibbles quietly on a cracker as he thinks. He's not sure where Master is, and he's really curious about this new member of their team--though he's curious about a lot of things, to be honest. The plight of being an incredibly sheltered display sword.]

There are quite a few of us here now! Though I'm not sure as to the exact number...ah, but Nakigitsune would be happy to show you around the citadel, if you'd like!

[Iwatooshi nods enthusiastically, obviously excited to meet other swords and possibly their master, if they can be found.]

I would like that! This one is Nakigitsune, then? [he points at the quiet sword, looking back and forth between him and the fox.]

[yaayaa]

That's right! [says the fox, as his sword nods...slightly...he's mostly just staring silently up at the giant. jiiiiiiii.]

Nakigitsune the Awataguchi-forged uchigatana, at your service! And what might your name be?

[Ah, that's fine. Iwatooshi will be loud enough for the both of them, as if the fox wasn't speaking everything that needed to be said already.]

I'm Iwatooshi, Musashibou Benkei's naginata!! [he smiles proudly, of course.]

So there are quite a few of us here, hmm? Do you know a small tantou called Imanotsurugi? [he emphasizes the 'small' part by measuring the air with his hands- an inaccurate measurement, most likely, because everything Iwatooshi sees is small. Still, finding someone he knows personally could help, so maybe he should ask!

Ohhh, a naginata! You're the first we've seen, Iwatooshi-sama!

...I saw him earlier. [Imanotsurugi, he means. Though Naki's pretty sure he's bigger than that.]

[Iwatooshi straightens out and puts his hands on his hips for a moment after the fox's comment. Not long after though, he realizes what Nakigitsune mentioned.]

Really! He's a friend of mine, amazing to know he was brought here too, what luck!
