[ yes, leave it to tsurumaru. he'll bring down every sword on their heads within the hour-- wait, that isn't the kind of distraction you're looking for??

and shush, his bullshit is always great and he's always adorable. tsurumaru kuninaga is always great in all the ways (this is a self-assessment and may be only slightly biased). as it stands now, though, he finds his suspicions confirmed, and chuckles a little in that regard. namazuo is kind-hearted, and very odd. most swords would think of first asking the sage if they could have a token, and very few do get turned down, but he supposes that since their dear sage is out and about today, namazuo has a good reason for resorting to cat burglary. anyway, he finds that this is the more interesting of the two options, and so he just puts down his potted plan with a small laugh, and goes to open up a cabinet, ostensibly to help rifle through the saniwa's personal effects for good measure.

Maybe, maybe. Ah, but what if our dear Sage tucked them away in a hidden compartment somewhere to prevent them from being stolen? [ honestly, he doesn't think this would be the case, but it's a fanciful enough of a thought that he just had to share it. ] Finding them would be a bit hard, then, wouldn't it?
