[The Citadel is huge, so it's a good thing they have all the time in the world to dick around.
--Well, no, they don't. But the point is, it's a free day. There will be absolutely no work done at all. Unless you want to or something. If you do, you're pretty weird.
The dojo is always open for sparring and practice. If there's any sparring errand you've slacked on, now's the chance to make up! The horse stables are also full of activity, whether the horses are being tended to or rode around-- be careful not to let them trample the fields, though, which is full of rice sprouts and budding cabbage. The lake in front of the saniwa(s)' room has tiny frogs jumping about, and you could catch them in the palm of your hand.
The kitchen is full of food, if you're volunteering to make lunch or have decided that meal time cannot possibly come any later and you simply must prepare something before you die from starvation. While there has been a considerable effort made to make the Citadel look as homely as possible to the swords which come from Japan's past, there's speckles of technology here and there.
The TV room is a good example, with a huge screen sitting on top of a few console systems. Don't break them, you'll only be getting this luxury once. Take turns and play nice. The swords may also find themselves tending the fields with water sprinklers and hoses instead of watering cans, for instance, or heating up some leftover pie in the fridge instead of making another one from scratch since there's technology to preserve food well over a week. The armory and smithy are definitely a little bit more modern than they'd be back in the past, though much is still made by hand-- nothing beats the fine work of a master. Perhaps you'll have a few new friends today, or you want to try creating a cute little soldier spirits todie for you accompany you in battle. Make sure they enter the orb completely, or else it'll turn brown and crack.
Or perhaps you're one of the unlucky swords still stuck in the repair room, sword body still being re-smelted and fixed. Hope the saniwa is good at making you all shiny. If you want to skip all that waiting, perhaps you can try to use a helper token... but they're all in the saniwa's room! Guess you've got to use that Camouflage stat...
But if you truly cannot bear with staying in the Citadel, the time device the saniwa(s) have isn't locked away. You can go on sorties or expeditions to fill your time with something productive.
Just a warning: don't change the past. You won't succeed.
...You could always try, though.]

The fingers, light and slender and made of hard, cold steel, receive some attention. Kogitsunemaru can't not pay attention to them, tantalizing as they are. Kogitsunemaru ignored Mikazuki's suggestion for now, his tongue sneaking out to steal a quick lick, followed by a quick kiss and then-
Kogitsunemaru opens his mouth just enough to take two fingers into his mouth up to the first knuckle. It's barely anything at all but Kogitsunemaru catches Mikazuki's eyes and smirks around the digits.
Really, who is he to resist an offering like that? Carefully but firmly, he wraps his fingers around Mikazuki's wrist to hold the hand in place as he nips at the fingertips, sucking and licking and teasing. It feels weird and unusual and right, very, very right.
All Kogitsunemaru knows is that he wants to be closer to Mikazuki. It's a fire burning in his chest and every crackle and every flame seems to be dedicated to Mikazuki, to the light in his eyes and the sound of his laughter and steel working beneath it all. To the way he says Kogitsunemaru's name, to the precious and rare moments where Mikazuki allows himself to simply be.
Kogitsunemaru tugs at the wrist until the fingers slip out with a wet pop and his heart is hammering nervously in his chest as he leans in to kiss Mikazuki's palm. Then he lets his hands fall, both of them, as he steps to the side to look for a cloth to clean the counters with.
Over his shoulder, he shoots Mikazuki a breathless, impish grin.]
You're right. We should clean up this mess. Here, you should clean the counters. I'll take care of the mess on the ground.
[It's not because Kogitsunemaru doesn't want Mikazuki's clothes to get dirty. (Perhaps it is, in part, because someone will have to get the mess out of Mikazuki's clothes and that sounds like a pain) It's easier to hid how own blush when looking at the floor and when Mikazuki is focused on other things. Entirely selfish, the suggestion is.
He holds out the cloth to Mikazuki, kneeling down already to check the other cupboards for more cleaning utensils.]

Oh.
That was— this is— Kogitsunemaru what are you doing.
It had taken only a moment for Mikazuki to fully register the lick, finding the sensation to be rather odd but... not entirely a bad thing. It wasn't until the moment that the fox had taken hold of his wrist, slipping his delicate fingers into his mouth that made the tachi react in an unsettle way.
His whole body flinches, rattled with an unfamiliar action he had never thought to experience, and more properly react to. His initial instinct at first was to pull away, feeling the sharp tips of Kogitsunemaru's teeth against his flesh and the strange warmth of his saliva. It was all very strange, very undignified, but for some reason he couldn't move his arm. It has been completely frozen, as the shock had settled in and emotions had heightened.
He couldn't explain this feeling— these heated cheeks and shivers— but he did know that he didn't want the feeling to go away. To think that smallest and strangest things could make Mikazuki's body react in ways he had never thought possible.
This fox, surely he was trouble. ]
Nnn...
[ Mikazuki is utterly breathless. He, one of the greatest swords in Japan. He, branded among the most beautiful. He, whom has been completely and utterly captivated by the ways of a little fox. The sound that came out of his mouth was just as undignified as his reactions, but he couldn't find himself to hide them no matter how much he would suppress. This in turn left to the diversion of his eyes from the other once the kiss had been placed upon his palm. ]
Y... yes, of course. Certainly.
[ Perhaps it was a good thing for the both of them that Kogitsunemaru had suggested for them to clean up different areas of the kitchen. Mikazuki needed time against to compose himself, as rattled and wordless as he may be. He had accepted the cloth that the fox had handed over but... his hand may have lingered on the other's for more than necessary.
Everything felt so right, so good, he didn't want it to stop. The mess in the kitchen be damned.
He relented a moment later though, gently fingers sliding away from the other as his attention finally turns to the side. He'll be wiping the counter at this point, turning circles in the same spot multiple times. The sword's head was certainly elsewhere, and it was going to take a lot longer than expected for this place to return to its former glory. ]
