local saniwa ruins everything

I. shopping

a) [ azusa was in one of those spending moods today. when's the last time he'd gone out shopping with the swords? ( more like whens the last time he was allowed--) at any rate, since the citadel was getting low on supplies he took it upon himself to drag off the first person in sight with him to go supply shopping, list in hand and everything.

of course, once they got there that list was quickly forgotten upon noticing some colorful displays with nice fashion. he's looking intently at the shining accessories and clothes with silky fabrics. grabbing onto the person's arm, he grins. ]

Hey, do... you want this? You do right? So if I buy it, it'll be a justified purchase, right? [ as his grip tightens his face looks like it's saying something along the lines of: please say yes! ]

b) [ well, this shopping trip has definitely derailed from what it was originally for. since he's just so good at persuasion he's managed to convince his shopping pal to try on clothes with him. ...wasn't this a supply run?

ANYWAY, once they're both out of the changing room he takes a good look at the other and... ] Ew, what is that? No no, go change. Those colors don't match at all! We're trying to look fashionable, not like weird street performers! (no chill) Alright, here, try this instead. [ quickly, he shoves a separate set of clothes into their arms before they could say anything else. ]

II. Repairs

[ well! that was an eventful expedition. everyone got all scratched and banged up from the looks of it. seems like azusa is going to have to change his strategy, but that's for another time. right now he has to take care of all those wounds. leaving himself for last because...ok look, he's fine--it's not because he hates the antiseptic products or anything. that open wound on his shoulder can heal up on its own. yeah right.

as the first person shows up to be treated he pulls out the bandages and medicine from the kit and takes their hand quickly dabbing at the scratches. ]

This is gonna sting a little, but it'll be over soon. I'll be as gentle as possible m'kay? ( practice what you preach azusa... )

[ with medical pliers in hand he'll make sure to pull out any splinters or tips of arrows in any of the wounds before cleaning and bandaging. ]

My idea was pretty bad, huh? I went and got you guys all ruined like this haha, sorry. I'll think of something else next time. I know, I'll get you guys new accessories as an apology. Sound good? Ah, if I miss any wounds tell me. If you're feeling nauseous, also tell me! I won't be able to tell from just looking.

III. Forging

[ As soon as he returned home he set everything down and scurried to the forgery. ] Nyaha! a new friend is home, Gotta make sure they feel welcomed! [ As he opens the doors the first thing he does is pull up the two outfits he had waiting just for them.]

Good afternoon!...No, wait--Good evening! This is for you. Tell me, which one of these do you like better? [ ah yes, the azusa ritual of gifting each new sword with a brand new pair of clothes. ]

It's important to know where your tastes lie.

IV. Omiyage

[ Finally, he's home and with tons of treasures from that supply hunt. He picked out most of these with someone in mind--now he just has to give these to everyone. It's just one of those gift-giving days and he wants to show gratitude so! ]

Hey! If you're sleeping wake up! I'm home and I brought gifts--they're not dead this time. So I'll get lots of pats on the head right? You should praise me! In return, I'll also pat and praise you Nyahaha! It's a win win.

[ as he says that he goes around passing his gifts to everyone expectantly waiting to be pet or something of the like. ]

[ Oh my god... Their wallets sure are going to be empty, but hey, at least they're gonna look really good? They can just ward enemies off with their sharp looks no big deal. ]

Alright, lets go! [ so they'll soon be taking a look at the accessory stands...and maybe just one or two accessory isn't enough. He's already weak enough when it comes to fashion, but shiny things?! ] ...we could get one for each day of the week. [ ah, he said it. ]

[How did they speed up from like 10% to 110% on the turbo shopping scale in less than 5 seconds... A True Mystery™.

But Kashuu's responsibility stats are low and he's probably not going to be the one to point out that hey! They should be saving their money for food and resources! ...Not yet, at least. If things get too out of hand, responsible babysitter mode will kick in, but for now he's just distracted by all the shiny things and the promise of a cute new outfit.]

I mean, can't hurt to try stuff on, right? We don't have to buy 'em... But we can at least see which ones work the best! That way we can figure out which ones we need to have and which ones can wait for later.

[THEY DON'T NEED ANY OF THESE THINGS.]

[ HONESTLY THOUGH. They've got no one to blame but themselves, and the fact that Azusa can't focus on a singular thing for more than...2 minutes. ]

Ah, yeah you're right! What if we got too many and they went out of style the next day, that'd be awful wouldn't it? [ THATS his concern? ...Well, it's reasonable. He's totally okay with trying things on instead of buying so for now, the evil is defeated. ]

Okay, what do you think--opinions time, chain cuff earrings...or small hoops? [ He'll turn to Kashuu with one of each on his cat ears. Honestly? It's probably a funny sight. Particularly the chain earring that doesn't quite settle well on his ear. He loves these, but he can never quite get them on right. ]

Ooh, that's a good point. Things go outta style really fast, don't they? [He's read about this in magazines!! He's seen it himself! One issue they'll be talking about how boot cut pants are all the rage, the next it's skinny jeans, and then pants are out altogether for like an entire season... Ah, the shifting tides of fashion.

But!! Looking up curiously as Azusa holds the earrings up! The chain cuffs are way cute, but they do fit a little strangely... Still:]

I tried explaining that once! There are just some things some swords don't get on purpose...

[A LOUD SIGH, because he's clearly surrounded by buffoons who know nothing and meatheads who only care about battle. It's a tragedy... He bets Doudanuki's never felt the pain of having to toss out half a wardrobe! Doudanuki probably barely has half a wardrobe to toss out, honestly.]

But he leans over to watch as he checks the earrings, perking up noticeably at his idea. Holding the pair up to his right ear...]

[ He knows that all too well, especially after dealing with a few certain swords who weren't too keen on the idea of being stylish! It's a tough life when no one understands why you're agonizing over a new clothing line like him! ...But Kashuu has a point! ]

He'll look at Kashuu for a moment...and as expected! When the earrings suit you just right. ]

[ And here comes another idea to further derail this supply trip--talk about scatter brained! ] You know, since we're already here we should get new nail polish and makeup...we can do our nails and stuff later...like a makeover party! [ Might as well go the whole 9 yards, not like anyone can help them now. ]

He sure is beaming in response to the rest of that, too! A makeover party? Count him in one hundred times over, honestly. His chest puffs out at the compliment too, and he brushes some of his hair back in a preening motion.]

[CLAPPING HIS HANDS TOGETHER.]

What's this? I'm getting praised! [ GOOD. His praise! He'll reach over to pat Kashuu on the head in return as gratitude. ] I'm glad my good tastes can be acknowledged by someone at least.

[ Kashuus enthusiasm is just further enabling him to go with his ideas. Voice of reason? Never heard of it! ] My instincts are telling me we're deserving of it. Besides, there's never a bad time for makeup and nail art! Come on come on! [ He'll pull Kashuu along with him with everything they planned on buying in hand to go get them checked. Once they were out--off they were to get those new cosmetics! ] You know--I've only ever done my own makeup so having someone else do it for me will be fun! Show me your skills, Kashuu!

[ He's trusting of Kashuu enough to go near him with this type of thing. So honestly, he's really curious! ]

[HIS HEADPATS! A good, even trade... Kashuu beams, tilting his head a little for maximum patting.]

It's true it's true! One can never argue about cosmetics in the first place, I think. [ More like even if they did argue he'd make sure to persuade them otherwise! ]

[ Of course, he agreed to not peek, but that wont stop him from trying to take a veeery sliiight glance. Look he's excited to see what the surprise is! So he's trying to be as discreet as possible about it. ]

Have I eeever been a disappointment? There's no way, right?

[Because he's number one, duh!!

Anyway, he'll be able to catch a peek of some very glamorously-colored gloss before Kashuu notices that he's trying to be a sneaky sneak. He may be a crafty cat, but Kashuu is battle-trained and ready to SNIPE SPIES-- Or just lightly scold cheating saniwa.]

[ He's actually going to cross his arms and give this some thought. ] HMM...[ It's only in a joking manner, though. ] Nope! Couldn't ask for a better sword. [ Or a better fashion consultant?! ] You're right!

[ But damn, he's been caught! He's soo curious though...what's Kashuu picking out? He's gotta. He'll quickly look away as he's scolded. ] Tiny little peaks don't hurt surprises! ....But fine, I'll keep waiting patiently!

[ He'll be strong... he'll pout and be 5 while he's waiting, but strong! ]

[Don't give him small heart attacks like that?! Holy moly, he's distressed for like .5 seconds there!!

But he's reassured quickly too, at least, and makes a little huffy sound...]

Of course I'm right. Geez! Don't waste so much time before you answer.

[IT MAKES HIM SAD. ...Not sad enough to stop him from continuing to load up a little handbasket with products, though.]

Tiny little peeks totally hurt surprises, though. That defeats the whole purpose!

[ Oh, come on he's just being playful! As if Azusa would ever think poorly of any of his swords... ]
